Card. Visa and Mastercard debit or credit cards. Credits usually land within seconds of the payment being approved.
Apple Pay. On iPhone and iPad (Safari or Chrome) and in Safari on a Mac, where your device has Apple Pay set up. It isn't offered in other desktop browsers.
Pay by bank. For UK bank accounts in pounds. You approve the payment in your own banking app, and credits are added once your bank confirms it, usually within a minute and occasionally a little longer.

Replies are written by Fera's team, real people responding in the voice of that character. It's entertainment, written for slow, immersive conversation.
The characters are original fictional identities we created, and their likenesses are AI-generated, so they don't depict any specific real person, historical or living. The replies you receive are written by real human writers on our team, responding in the voice and personality of the character you chose.
No. The characters are fictional and don't exist outside Fera. Our writers won't share personal contact details or arrange meetings. Fera is a romance chat service, not a dating or hookup product.

One credit equals one message you send. Receiving replies costs nothing. You buy credits in one-off packs (Glance £4.99 / 10 credits, Letter £9.99 / 25 credits, Courtship £24.99 / 70 credits, Scandal £49.99 / 150 credits) and they're added to your account instantly. Credits never expire.

Yes. Choose your chat language when you sign up or later in your profile. Your messages and the replies are translated, so the conversation happens in your language. The website and the app's menus and buttons are in English.
No. Fera is one-time purchases only. There are no subscriptions, no auto-renewals, and no recurring charges. You only get charged when you choose to buy more credits.
Depending on your currency and device, you can pay by Visa or Mastercard debit or credit card, by Apple Pay on supported Apple devices, or by Pay by bank from your banking app. The options available right now are listed under "Languages, currencies and payments" on this page, and checkout only shows the ones that work for you. Card payments appear on your statement as "FERA".

Add Ferato your phone's home screen and you're one tap from the conversation, full screen, and you'll know the moment someone writes back (a discreet ping with the character's name only, never the message). Yes, in certain circumstances. See our full Refund Policy for the details. In short: unused credits purchased within the last 14 days can be refunded; consumed credits cannot.
Conversations are encrypted in transit and at rest, and aren't visible to other users. They are read by the writer who is replying to you, working under strict confidentiality obligations. We don't sell your data or share your chat content with advertisers.
Your messages are read by Fera's writers (the people who respond in the voice of the character) and by a small number of trained moderators who review for safety and policy compliance.
Go to your Profile page, choose Close your account, type CLOSE and confirm. You'll be signed out, we'll stop emailing you, and the account can't be used again; any remaining credits can't be used either. If you bought credits in the last 14 days and want a refund for unused ones, email support@ferachat.com first. To have your personal data erased, email support@ferachat.com.
